Club Getaway group? No. If you want to be able to enjoy
our value added package and exclusive Club Getaway benefits,
then you need to book directly with us.
What is the age group for this cruise? The age
range varies anywhere from 20's to 50's with a good mix of all
ages. What is the ratio of men to women? You will find the
ratio on our cruise to be very even. We do our best to make
sure that there are similar numbers of men and women, so that
everyone has a good time. After all, this is a singles cruise!
What does the cruise cost? The cruise pricing is
listed under reservations, and varies depending on the room
you choose. In addition to the cost of the room on the ship,
you will be required to pay port charges of $139, a government
tax of $53 and a $60 gratuity package for the cruise ship,
which does not include tips at the bar. The pricing does not
include airfare to and from Ft. Lauderdale either, but Club
Getaway will be more than happy to book that for you through
Costa Cruise Lines. Is there anything not included in the
price? Yes. Port charges, government tax, a gratuity package
and airfare are not included in the cost of the trip. You will
also be responsible for your own salon and spa services,
optional insurance ($99), phone calls, faxes, alcohol,
souvenirs and laundry.
What is the price of a single cabin? Single
cabins are available at an additional 80% of the cruise

same.

should book your own flight to arrive in Fort Lauderdale
anytime before 4 p.m. Your return flight should be no earlier
than 12 p.m.
What about tipping? As a part of our package we
charge a $60 pre-paid for gratuities for the week. This covers
your tipping for all dining staff, the matre'd and the cabin
stewards. It is at your discretion if you wish to tip anymore
than that. When does the cruise depart and return? This cruise
begins on Sunday February 12, 2006 and returns on Sunday,

of 200 lbs. of luggage per person.
Will I need ID, Passport, birth certificate,
etc? You will need a passport or state certified birth
certificate and photo I.D.
How are the meals? One of the most important
rules of a Club Getaway Cruise vacation is that no one goes
hungry! Begin your day by breaking bread at the ship's
bountiful buffet served on the outdoor terrace. For lunch,
join friends and indulge in the luxury of the main restaurant
or choose the lavish buffet on the deck. On the islands you
can either sample some of the islands cuisine or go back to
ship.
How are Dinners? Our dinners are a glamorous
6-course Club Getaway event. Round robin seating will allow
you to share each day's adventures with new-found friends.
Cozy bistros serve authentic Italian pizzas, gelato,
cappuccino and espresso. Make sure to leave room for the
dazzling midnight buffet!
The best part is meeting new friends... The best
part about a Club Getaway Vacation is meeting lots of new
people. Friendships flourish on a Club Getaway trip. That's
because people have a great time. They kick back, relax and
share common experiences and adventures. The friendships you
make here may last a week or a lifetime. What If I am
traveling alone? If you're traveling by yourself you'll find
it easy to mix and mingle, and we'll pair you with a roommate.
Is this for singles only? Our guests are
predominantly singles, but if you were thinking of joining us
with a partner, I can assure you that you will both have a
great time.
Is it OK to travel on my own? Absolutely. You
will find that most of the guests that have booked so far have
booked on their own. We will match you with a roommate for the
week.
How many people do you have signed up? We are
expecting a sold-out cruise of 300 guests! Space will be
limited so you need to book early. So don't leave it too late
to make your reservation. This will be the best vacation that
you will ever take.
The Ship (Costa Mediterranea) The Costa
Mediterranea is an Italian masterpiece! It is one of the
newest and finest ships at sea. Europe's finest designers
spared no expense to make her one of the most comfortable and
elegant ships afloat. Club Getaway has reserved 300 berths of
the Mediterranea's capacity of 2114 passengers. With a staff
and crew numbering 920, it's the perfect size ship. The cabins
are generously proportioned and luxuriously appointed. There
are nightclubs, a disco, a casino, lounges, restaurants,
fitness center and a spa to take your breath away! As well as
tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. The outside decks
are geared for fun and relaxation with swimming pools, a
jogging track, bars, solariums and more!
What makes this cruise different from any other singles
cruises? Most other singles cruises offer packages that
just include a cocktail party and the cruise ship activities.
You are left on your own to work out what to do on the islands
and what to do when you get back on the cruise ship. Whereas
the Club Getaway cruise includes - * Excursions and activities
in every port (at least two or three) * Sports and activities
on board the cruise ship * Themed cocktail parties nightly (at
least 2 FREE open bars) * Round robin seating (so that you can
mix and match your dinner partners on a nightly basis) * Free
Roommate Shares *Planned excursions and activities at every
port (at an additional charge) Plus the cruise ship
activities. We also take our own Club Getaway Staff on board
as social hosts, whose job is simply to make sure that you are
having a great time! All of these activities are exclusive
only to Club Getaway guests.
